Welcome to AZ Prepper's blog!

After the recommendation of many, I’ve finally given in and decided to create my own blog and share some of the things I've learned throughout the years through experience, research and from others. The primary focus on emergency preparedness, survival skills, etc. I won’t claim to know everything nor will I share things that I don’t already know are true. But I will share what I have learned and things I have experienced myself in hopes to give you a little more insight and suggestions on various topics.

What this won't have is much of the cookie cutter type of info that seems to be so prevalent on the internet these days. There's far too much copying and pasting data without really understanding any of it. So much of what you'll find here is a common sense, realistic approach.

Hopefully these things will spark an interest in you to learn a little more, get out of your comfort zone and try new things and become better prepared for this time of uncertainties. No matter how much you have done or how much you think you need to do, the most important thing to do is make progress, even if it's a little at a time. A little bit at a time over a long period results in great progress. Doing nothing puts you further and further behind. So just take small steps forward...

And despite what you may think, preparedness is a very fun thing! Once you get started, a whole new exciting world opens up! And it's a great thing to do as a family. Get your children involved. Teach them skills and empower them to be able to handle all things throughout their lives. Involving them will teach them about responsibility, planning ahead and will also help increase their self worth. No matter how you look at it, preparedness is a very positive thing.

Be sure to keep stay away from fear mongering. Being prepared eliminates fear. It empowers a person. Keep your intentions right and help others as well.

I've also added a "Product Reviews" section to review products and give my opinion of their quality, usefulness, etc. If you have anything you'd like me to review, please feel free to contact me.

Be sure to leave your comments and personal suggestions. Also join me on Facebook!

Enjoy the journey!
